Career opportunity in PR and Corporate Field

Amith Prabhu, the founding Dean of Score  who has 12 years of experience in the field of PR and Corporate World visited both first and second year MCMS students to create an awareness  among  them on career opportunities in Public Relation and Corporate Communication. Public Relation refers to art and science of building and managing reputation of a brand or organization or person through planned communication to its various stakeholders, said Mr Amith. PR is used more in the public sector. He also spoke about the courses offered in their institution and the 3 fold procedures to be followed i.e. write to them, online entrance test, and interview. All their institutions are situated in the metropolitan cities. PR stands for 4 Cs i.e. content creations, connecting with stakeholders, crisis management, and counseling and reputation.  Mr Amith enquired about student’s future plan and encouraged them to contact for further details in career planning. It was an interactive session.
